Hello. I am excited to be a member, i was never a member on any forum and was searching for a new thread icon for half an hour. The thing is i do not trust public places but i need help badly so bare on this forum newbie mistakes and any wrong do or say. My brother died on my birthday recently, this was his new gaming rig. We both were astound by dolphin on our old pc( core duo,4gb ram, radeon 4790 1gb) and made a pact to finish our favorite game, resident evil remake together in full HD . I need to finish that ASAP so i can rest my mind for a bit. We (i) have this setup on rig: i7 4770k 3.5ghz, 16gb of corsair LE ram. asus 780 ti gpu and corsair 120gb ssd. The graphic card was added 3 days ago and now i am in a search for the ultimate setup for the game on this pc. So pls help me with the best version of dolphin for that game and setup of plugins and etc.. Pictures are very welcome since my late bro was the authority on managing the pc, i can mostly do game setup and playing the game i install. I am sorry for all grammar and bad english. Thank you in advance!

The latest version wil be always the best (check the dev build list: dolphin-emu.org/download).

Don´t get worried about performance, you have a fast beast on your hands. Smile
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

The rig you have is beautiful, and it will only get better if you overclock, but we can talk about that later. Im sorry to hear what happened to your brother, and I hope you are okay.

Anyways, which resident evil game are we talking about? Settings per game generally don't need to be changed TOO much since some settings are automatically set using the game .ini files, but knowing which Resident Evil game in question would be useful.

The latest dev build of dolphin would be best, especially with the powerful hardware you have.

He's talking about the first RE game. And probably GC version rather than its Wii port

Thank you all for responding to my desperate calls for help and for your condolances . The game will be resident evil remake. Version is up to you who know your stuff so i ask which version will run more smoothly, with less crashes and more speed and eye candy the Gc or Wii ?. Since im a noobies noob on forums i must ask is it permitted to post links to youtube in this lines cause i have bookmarked a link with beautifull setting on my flash stick. That kinda game i would like to run! (its best seen when lifted in youtubes hd setting + it has link in description how to set plugins and options and etc...) Would like your opinions! Once again i apoligize for my pigeon english.

You may of course post links to Youtube, as long as the Youtube page does not give a link to a download of a .iso or .wbfs, DOWNLOADING IS AGAINST THE RULES.
If you want to post a link to explain your question or point out how you want your emulation to be, go ahead.
No apologize need for any bad English, in my opinion, mine is bad too and I'm sure there are loads of others that don't know the English language very well. Smile
I don't play the Resident Evil Remake, but remember about versions that newer versions will have better emulating but also higher system requirements; so if your are having way too low fps you can try an older version (but it will cost some graphic experience).
