Wouldn't a feature like that be useful? For example when the games freeze on you, and you haven't saved for a while, an autosave feature could save you some progress.

Dolphin can't always detect a freeze, so that would be quite hard.

For what the OP suggested dolphin wouldn't be required to "detect" a game freezing. He's merely asking for a way of making Dolphin save a state once in a predefined while.
![]() But still that wouldn't be much useful, cause save states are pretty unstable at the moment and can cause freezing themselves.
