Image ghosting when increasing internal resolution

Morning all,

I am having a graphical issue with Dolphin whereby I cna see ghost images overlayed on the main picture within Dolphin. It seems to be more noticeable on some games (Mario Kart in particular) and is very annoying/distracting. Essentially if the internal resolution is set to 3x, then I get the original, a double and then the correct triple all displayed over the top of each other (albeit the og and double are faint), if I set to 4x then I get 4 images etc... Strangely on multiplayer each split screen window experiences the same effect.

I've attached some images to try and highlight it. From the screenshots it doesn't look too bad, but really it's terrible when the image is moving. Does anyone know what could be the cause and solution please?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - I have been searching for months and haven't been able to find a solution.

Thanks as always for all your hard work!

A very humble FlyingElk

What is your precise version of Dolphin? Also, could you give us screenshots of your graphics settings please.

Thanks so much for your prompt reply Maylmilae Smile

Graphics settings all attached. I'm using version 5.0 15445, but have had this issue with all 0revious builds for as long as I can remember.

Thanks again

So we have a default for this game that turns off Ignore Format Changes and fixes this issue. But you don't appear to have this default active at all, like, you didn't override it, it's just not there? So it seems like you have somehow removed or munged up the Sys folder. So delete your Sys folder, download 5.0-15445 again, and copy paste the fresh one you downloaded into the folder beside the EXE. That should fix your issue!

In the future, make sure you don't alter or mess with the Sys folder, and be sure to copy it over every time you update. Don't just overwrite the EXE and call it a day, if you were doing that.

Thanks so much for your time Maylmilae. I have recovered the sys folder as instructed and indeed the 'Ignore Format Changes' option is now there within the graphics menu. However, the issue persists whether this is checked or not... I've also tried changing the setting under the game properties config from true to false but still no dice.

Do you have any other suggestions please?
