i had a barracuda and its pretty much dead now... its like 6 years old though Wink

but i agree a wd should treat you better

western digital black hard drives are the best in my opinion

Samsung F1 series are as good as WD's. Not all of them though. I bought a 640GB one last year, its really silent and fast.
