Information
Alright so, I'm new to the forums and emulation in general.

The thing I wanna know is, if I update Dolphin, will I still have my save data?

Because I have Dolphin 5.0 and I wanna update to the Development versions, do I keep my saves or not?

I play Animal Crossing on the emulator and I don't wanna start again.

Thanks!  Big Grin

Your saves will be kept. However, if you have any savestates, the new version of Dolphin won't be able to load them. (The savestates don't get deleted, so you can always go back to an earlier version if necessary.)

Hmm, how are they saved? Do I need to search a type of file and insert it into the new Dolphin or what?

Thanks Big Grin

By default, saves are stored in Documents, meaning you don't have to do anything at all to make the saves carry over.
