So I have been ripping my hair out for a couple of days trying to get a Wiimote connected to dolphin. I tried multiple bluetooth stacks/packages and scoured these forums and tried nearly every fix out there and still couldn't get past multiple issues that kept coming up no matter what fix I tried. So...I tried a different combination and now I have a fully functional set up that is going to save my hair, lol.
Here is what I did:
I already had an old Rocketfish wireless sensor bar that I bought back when I got our Wii and it works perfectly.
I hit up Best Buy and got a Rocketfish Micro Bluetooth Adapter for $20. It comes with Widcomm, which didn't work for me from the disk.
I successfully connected an old original WiiMote with the rubber cover with built in Motion Plus attachment on bottom...and used both a nunchuck and a wii classic gamepad controller successfully. I have played: Donkey Kong Country Returns, Rune Factory Tides of Destiny, Xenoblade Chronicles and Zelda Skyward Sword so far with success.
I went to this thread:
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-emu...otion+plus
And downloaded this file: (Check the above thread to find the right download for your computer...this one I've pasted a link to is for Windows x64 ONLY)
http://www.mediafire.com/?5j57dnnhmqzn2bm
I unzipped it into it's own folder, copied the files and dragged and dropped them into the dolphin directory. This one is only for Windows X64, but that thread lists other versions as well...I used the last one on the list for my system because it was the most recent. This helps with motion plus, which is now working for me...finally.
After I did that I went to:
http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php
and downloaded and ran that. I followed the instructions on the page to the letter. This is an updated version of Widcomm and it WILL work with the set up that I have. Prior to copy and pasting the files from that thread I mentioned above I had the Dolphin ver. 3.5-432.
Once I had this new Widcomm software all installed Dolphin recognized my WiiMote on the first attempt and easily reconnects when I switch games or close Dolphin or restart my computer.
I hope this helps others who are as equally as frustrated as I have been. Good luck and please report back if this works for you.
