Figured I would post this as a bugreport. It occurs on all of the builds I've tried (4664, 4771, 4950, 4943 and some others).

The setup: Sixaxis as 'classic controller', using njoy plugin and motionjoy for Windows XP 32-bit.

The problem: If the sixaxis goes to sleep (i.e. leave it idle for a few minutes) during emulation, there seems to be no way to wake it up again without quitting Dolphin.

I have tried unplugging/replugging the controller, reinitializing the controller in motionjoy, and remapping the buttons in Dolphin's Wiimote button config screen. None of these attempts worked, even though I am able to do that last thing. This tells me that Dolphin is receiving my controller inputs, but somehow they are no longer being sent to the game.

And I was just in the middle of that last sentence when my computer suddenly had a BSOD and rebooted itself. Smile I had Dolphin running in the background with a struggling framerate and, obviously, nonresponsive controls. Lawl. That was fairly terrifying for a moment while I was waiting for the screen to reappear...

Apart from that, the game I was playing (Chocobo's Dungeon) was running excellently, albeit with some minor framerate issues. And it's the first game I've attempted to run on Dolphin where the sound is perfect-- I mean it's fantastic! Big Grin

Now, I wonder if there is a way to stop my controller going to sleep and causing this? If not, I'll just buttonmash during cutscenes. xP I'm very glad I savestated before that BSOD... long intro is long.

Oh, and I doubt it'll be helpful at all, but here's what my system logged after the BSOD:
"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000007e (0xc000001d, 0x88f4c71d, 0xb84f7ae4, 0xb84f77e0). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini020110-01.dmp."

Addendum: After restarting Dolphin and confirming that my controller is responsive at the main menu, I loaded my savestate and controls are unresponsive in the savestated game.
