Hi Dolphin team !
At first, I want to thank you for your app on PC that I have been enjoying for many years.
But today I am facing an issue with the Android version (Dolphin 5.0-19870) on Android 12 on a Samsung Galaxy S10e (Samsung Exynos 9820 + GPU ARM Mali G76 MP12 + 6 GB RAM)
If I do not constantly touch the screen of my device, the FPS immediatly drop by 50%.
This issue seems to be known (even if not so common) and some say it is related to a CPU governor setting on some phones. I have spent significant time to review all settings in Android that would change this behavior. Unsuccesfully.
On top of that, the few workarounds proposed on internet are not very satisfying:
Moreover I wanted to highlight that on this same device I also have Retroarch (using many cores such as SNES 9x, PCSX rearmed, Beetle Saturn, Pico drive, Flycast) + AetherSX2 + PPSSPP.
All these apps run smoothly without any drop of framrate if I do not touch the screen.
As none of these apps is impacted by this issue on my device, it makes me wonder if the solution could be on your side guys... Could there be a setting to change in Dolphin that would solve this issue ?
What do you guys think about all this ? Do you have an advice for me ? Do you need some logs or configuration files from this device ?
If you like I am available for you to investigate on this and to provide any info that could help you on this topic.
Thanks a lot in advance !
Pedrito

On top of that, the few workarounds proposed on internet are not very satisfying:
- Root the device to be able to change the setting (no way I would do that)
- Install an app that will automate a regular "fake" swipe to prevent the CPU to lower its capcity (sounds like a poor workaround that moreover would drain my battery even more)
