Ideal Bluetooth Adapter?

Hello all.

I've been using Dolphin for a while mostly as a novelty, but now I'm looking to fully replace my Wii to save space in my dorm. My Wii remote generally works well over bluetooth, but I have concerns about the speed of my adapter. When I emulated Skyward Sword, the motions would desynchronize much more frequently than on the original hardware. I can't recall exactly where I saw it, but I could swear that there was a discussion somewhere in which somebody fixed a similar issue by purchasing a newer, faster bluetooth adapter.
It seems to me that the motion+ data required more bandwidth than my very cheap, very old adapter could handle, causing the emulator to skip packets of information and go out of sync much faster than it should have.

Does anybody know if my issue is indeed with my bluetooth dongle, and could I get some recommendations for a better replacement?

All help appreciated.

If I´m not wrong, there´s a site (probably the FAQ, don´t really know) that shows the recommended Bluetooth devices and stack required to play with Dolphin efficiently.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Hmm, do you mean this page? The way you phrase it, it seems you're referring to a page with multiple recommendations, but this was all I could find. I don't suppose you could find a link, could you?

What does your Bluetooth adapter look like? What model is it?

The dongle on the recommended accessories page uses the Toshiba Stack, which is known to behave much more like the Wii in Skyward Sword and better overall wiimote performance. I.e. considerably less issues with desynchronization, much improved ability to resync automatically with the sensor bar during gameplay, and less lag overall. I use it myself; it is definitely an improvement. It isn't perfect of course, but it wasn't perfect on real hardware either. It just brings it up to wii standards ...though if you are using a wii with an HDTV without a dedicated "game mode" then dolphin with the toshiba stack would feel a whole lot better.

If you get it, just make sure you read the guide: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t...tion_Guide

As good as it is to help people out, does *anyone* know how well a random given Bluetooth dongle performs with Dolphin? I don't think there's anyone out there who's bored enough to be cataloguing this shit.

I haven't got the adapter on me, but it's a D-Link something or other.

Hold up, I just looked it up and it ought to be performing very well. D-Link DBT 120; supposedly supports 1 Gbps. Maybe I'll have to check whether or not I was using the Toshiba stack like I thought I was.

Actually it's more being old enough than being bored enough.
When you're my age you'll have probably grabbed here and there multiple informations about multiple subjects. Useful or not it's another story.
And you'll have also learned how cheeky young people can sometimes be Tongue .

Is the toshiba bluetooth bluestack software on this link http://support.toshiba.com/support/viewC...Id=4004468 for free or is it 30 days trial?

And should you disable the automatic windows driver software installation before you install the toshiba bluetooth bluestack?
