i5-3570K or i7-3770K for SMG1 and SSBB 4P?

So I am considering upgrading my CPU+MB+RAM to a Core i#. An i5 would be fine for just about every other use I have, but I would like the option to play Brawl with 4 players (on any stage) in 1080p without people whining about slowness/lag. I also would like to see the comet observatory @60fps (currenly 25-30 on my Q6600). Would a i5-3570K pushed to around 4.3ghz work for both of these or would I have to wait until I feel comfortable dropping the extra $100 on a i7-3770K? Are there any games that put more stress on the CPU than these? Also, people keep mentioning that I need the Z77 northbridge to properly overclock, is it really worth the extra $25 over a B75?

A P7x mobo should work fine and an i7 really won't make much, if any, of a differance so get the i5

No i5 3570k will be "enough"

B75 mobo is crap , not worth mentioning
i7 3770k has Hyper Threading (HT) . Dolphin doesn't care about HT , you have to overclock the i7 as well
