I upgraded from a Phenom II 955 BE. I had to OC that to 3.8 to get half-decent speeds on Xenoblade. But I can get full 30 frames per second on stock on my i5. That is crazy.

Processor: Intel i5 4690k
RAM: Kingston 16GB DDR3
Motherboard: GIGABYTE G1. Sniper z97
Heatsink: CM Hyper 212+

SSD: PNY 100GB
HDD 1: Seagate 1TB
HDD 2: Western Digital 500GB
ExHDD: 325GB

Congrats on your new system. Intel's products have been the choice for a lot of Dolphin users for very good performance reasons, as you've found out. We're not "fanboys" after all :p

It felt like it was only yesterday I bought my own Ivy Bridge i7 3770K also around release.
I got a small itch for Haswell though now that it's only a few months away...

I updated to 15-2500k earlier this year, and it's awesome too! 4.3GHz seems to chew away games like nothing Big Grin
