If this is true, then maybe its emulation related instead of hardware related? Whatever the case, it doesn't appear like I can just brute force my way through all of the speed issues by simply OCing my CPU.

And BTW, Dolphin 4.0.2 is actually faster than the Dolphin 3.5 I upgraded from. I've heard a lot of people say its the complete opposite, but with my hardware 4.0.2 is definitely faster, because I got lower FPS in Last Story using 3.5. I actually got dips to 25fps in spots that were consistent 30fps in 4.0.2, but there was no change in that specific spot. In both versions speed was 100%+ regardless of the FPS.

On the maximum side of the FPS, I do notice an increase with speeds between 3.3ghz and 4.2ghz, but on the minimum side, there is zero improvement.

According to the Dolphin CPU test, it seems like Haswell is at least 25-30% more efficient than Sandy Bridge at Dolphin JIT, and I'd be curious if the same FPS tank spots I'm having with a Sandy Bridge are present with people using an I5 or I7 Haswell?
