Yeah that's what I said. Watching 3D movie is quickly boring. Playing 3D we can already do it so sit down and play

Yes for 3D movies. But for "real movies"?

The Resident Evil series have 4 movies which kicks ass. Silent Hill got one movie and that's a great horror movie.
There was plans for a Castlevania movie but it got canned if I recall correctly. There might be more game based movies out there. (12-01-2011, 01:42 AM)NaturalViolence Wrote: B. Prevents them from understanding that good games won't necessarily translate into good movies. They are two completely different mediums. I was going to reply with something similar to this until I saw it. But then there are exceptions there, like Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and Prince of Persia. I think the main point is that the movie must be made with the vigilant eye and permanently by the side of the game creator, and things should be only done with his approval. But then again, I think that yes a Zelda game would suck badly, even in that trailer (that in that year's april fool "fooled" me btw) that is made to look awesome Link looks like some wnna be of a dwarf with the green tunic ^^ (12-01-2011, 04:29 AM)Gabriel Belmont Wrote: There might be more game based movies out there. Yeah there are a bunch but the great majority of them is a big pile of crap. The Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat ones are examples. And others like Final Fantasy that aren't that bad but still boring imo. And also Dragon Ball Evolution that was a big production but still, meh.

Yes, zombie movies are normally popular, no matter if they are based on a game (RE-SH series). Advent Children is kinda funny to watch. Tomb Raider... boring. Prince of persia is a rare exception, but it's not THAT great movie. OMFG! Street Figher and MK! My eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pls someone close this thread, allow me to be buried in the ground before a zelda movie comes out. I wonder how'd it all fit into a movie going from temple to temple, maybe a series but still they should wait till the game franchise is nearly dead before they bury the hatchet with a movie like God of war
......?????
