Requesting things like old technology or just older version of drivers and what not to work with newer builds is never wise for development. Its always best to find what things don't work then forcing software to use older "stuff". Best to focus on the problem at hand. Even if you have no development exp you can always help best test stuff. Simple comparisons and some patience will tell you what the main issue is. Its very possible that Brawl/ProjectM are going to play well with 9 vs 12 or OPGL but that that just implies the operation those games use are not taking advantage of newer graphical rendering sdk's yet. Its also possible that the CPU/GPU you have is why dx9 works better. I don't keep up with dolphin development but I'm sure priorities are outlined somewhere. I dont know if dolpinh would consider this a bug or a feature but IMO, reporting it will get the issue more attention.
