Mario64 is for the Nintendo 64 console.
Dolphin is an emulator for the Nintendo GameCube and Wii.

Find yourself an emulator capable of playing N64 games if you want to play Mario 64.
Project 64 and 1964 are good emulators for this.

If you want to play there are two ways. Fisrt download the lastest version of Dolphin here is a link http://emu.crimsonrain.com/. Furthermore setting the gamepad or keyboard.

And the second is tried to stop programs for example avast, bluetooth.
http://codestuff.tripod.com/products_starter.html this is the best software for this.

If you do that every games will be faster.

I think the problem is a program because you have a very strong computer.
