Alright so I think, my computer is pretty good, I don't know. It can run Skyrim at like 45FPS solid on absolute full settings.
AMD FX-8120 3.4GHz 8-core Processor
AMD Radeon HD 6950 (haven't unlocked to a 6970, but there's the potential)
16GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM
And I don't get nearly the frames I'd imagine out of Dolphin. I currently am running 3.0-204dirty.
Mario Kart Wii - Menus I get 60, racing drops to around 30 most of the time, sometimes even hitting lower than 15.
Mario Kart GC - Menus I get 60, racing is around 45 most of the time, but will drop into the high 20s.
Super Monkey Ball 2 - I get like 60 in the menus, and around 60 in game some of the time, but 30 at others. Depending on the stage, it can drop below 10 even.
New Super Mario Bros. - 0FPS constant. I'll have to figure that one out later...
Animal Crossing GC - Normally solid 60, drops sometimes on bad days (mentioned below)
And so ends my kinda small dolphin library so far.
Some things I've noticed are, the games run differently at different times. One day they'll run at better speeds then this, and the next they can run at worse speeds. No changes to background programs or config of Dolphin. Other thing is that cut scenes are just generally really slow. That or they don't load at all (Mario Kart GC).
What's my problem here? Or do I not have a problem and my speeds are nothing to be complaining about? My drivers for GFX are up to date.
Thanks,
CPCookieMan
