It's really nice seeing what sort of improvements have been made, I like how the articles take time to explain why the improvements matter and which decisions factored into things, and I really like that there's direct examples given that people can relate to, screenshots included. Shows people that the emulator is constantly being worked on too, puts it in a good light, and mentions notable contributors too.

Whoever's writing the progress reports, thank you.

MaJoR and JMC47 typically write the progress reports.

It's split up like this.

I write up the rough draft of the progress report usually. I also take all of the screenshots, record the videos, and do other content related tasks. Then, that rough draft is passed around.

Secondly, any areas where I'm not proficient enough to explain what's going on are assisted by developers. Hash unrolling was basically copypasta'd from something Fiora told me in the recent progress report, and she wrote at least an entire paragraph on the MMU stuff in the previous progress report.

Third: Once we're pretty happy with the writing, MaJoR crops/creates the finalized screenshots and graphs by editing the stuff I sent him. He also does a final pass on the article looking for flaws/problems in the writing.

Then we argue for a day or two about what sounds better until we finally have to post it Tongue
