...one day we will be able to run dolphin full speed with: Interperter (CPU and LLE), single core (and no idle skip), x4 res + x9 SSAA, and, EFB RAM, all in Hyrule Field towards the end of the game.

I predicted that...

I'll do that next year with my new Ivy Bridge CPU and awesome GPU, case except for the interpreter part which isn't required.

I don't have to, but I can't resist and I really love new tech.
I wasn't actually planning buying the Sandy Bridge i7 2600K and it was an impulse buy but next year this current rig could come in use for other projects. What I really want is a monster computer for playing all sorts of games, Dolphin included. I really look forward to what Intel and the GPU makers have to offer. Ivy Bridge is going to be something spectacular. Hopefully ATi or NVIDIA have some nice GPU's with 4-6GB RAM or more. 07-09-2011, 05:10 AM

It could be enough if that's what to chose from next year along with the Ivy Bridge. But if the development have come further and offering more bigger cards then I'm as good as sold, the bigger and stronger the better. |
