I want to run Kirby Air Ride, but currently there is a weird lag that happens when I play.

I just want to know the best settings/graphics/hacks/etc to use for my setup.

My specs are:

An Intel i7-4710HQ @ 2.6ghz

24 GB of DDR3

Nvidia GTX 970M

And I am running Windows 10.

Please help! Big Grin

What kind of lag is it? Is it a small slowdown that disappears fairly quickly or something else? If it's the former, it is shader compilation stuttering. Dolphin is an emulator and not a game; it doesn't know what shaders to generate ahead of time, so it has to do it during gameplay. Compiling is slow and results in stuttering, and this cannot be avoided.

Unless you use async shader compiler from Ishiiruka's builds... but then you won't get support from the forums except in this thread: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-ishiiruka-dolphin-custom-version

And then it sort of ruins the experience, since you'll see missing and/or broken effects before the shader is ready. The real solution is ubershaders, but that's still a WIP.

Thank you so much for the prompt replies, but after a little bit I figured out one of the "power saving" features of the laptop were preventing the game from using all the resources available.

My mistake, thank you all again though. Running like a charm now!
