OK, as you saw in the image, there is something seriously wrong with the graphics and idk how to fix it.

well that did help, but is there any way for it to not mess up like that in 16:9, it just looks weird playing and 4:3 with borders on a 16:9 screen size

The region free 16:9 Aspect Ratio Fix code from the wiki page. No issues for me here. I personally use the NTSC-U version, but the same code should work for PAL (if you use that instead). Check the game wiki page: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Super_Mario_Sunshine for recommended settings to avoid issues in-game. Remember to add this code (and the 60 FPS code) as Gecko Codes and not AR (Action Replay) Codes.

Which code for 16:9 did you use then that was causing the double image issue?
