Thermal Paste degrade over time .
You may need to replace thermal paste . If you don't , it may overheat

A laptop can run Dolphin well must be a gaming laptop , not normal business kind of laptop like that Sony . In fact , I've never heard a gaming laptop from Sony , most of them are either ultrabook or business laptop
The cheapest gaming laptop for Dolphin is the Dell 7559 (800USD) . Gaming laptop usually has more than 1 fan ...

Actually cheap "gaming" laptops often have weak amd processors. You have to watch out for that.

For Dolphin, no.

Anything cheaper would be very inconsistent with how well it would run Dolphin. That Dell is the cheapest laptop that will give you consistent performance in Dolphin.
