I was trying to play Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Dolphin Emulator but whenever I try, it doesn't work! I'm new to this kind of stuff, also, but whenever I click the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl it says the following:
"Can't init any wiimote plugins."
"Couldn't init the core."
"Check your configuration."

Why does this keep happening?

And also, I have the wiimote plugin in my plugins folder, so why isn't it working? I thought I did everything correct!

And in case this is important information needed, I use Microsoft Windows XP.

Other stuff:
Intel[R]
Pentium® 4 CPU 1.80GHz
1.79 GHz, 1.12 GB of RAM

I'm not sure if I gave all of the information needed, but if there's anything else you guys need to know just ask.

You don't need help, all you need to do is read the stickies. Even if you did get it to work, you wouldn't be able to play at any more than 15fps.

Your computer is frightfully slow. Don't expect many games to run, and the ones that do will be too slow to be playable.

Well maybe if I delete some stuff I could get more space on my computer, and besides, I only want to use Dolphin for this ONE game so it's okay if not much games work on my computer.

But does that even have to do with my question anyways?

Thanks for the link, it has quite a lot of useful information.

But I have a question, sorry if this sound stupid but I'm not all that techy anyways, but is there any way to increase the amount of GHz you have on your computer? Because I need at least 2GHz (well it's recommended) but I only have 1.79GHz.

Thanks for all the future help.

You can overclock a CPU, but it can be unstable or break if you do it wrong.
A Pentium 4 at 2GHz is still going to be much too slow to play most games.

You will probably need to buy a new CPU (and probably motherboard/ram/gpu/whole computer :p) if you want to get decent speeds.

just play on your wii. Besides, removing things on hdds won't give a significant speed up.

Okay, I guess I'll wait until I get enough money for a laptop (I"m $100 dollars away) & I will try to get the dolphin emulator to work on that, and hopefully it works, and I'll be sure to read the stickies.

I guess if it doesn't work I'll post another thread like this and ask about why it isn't working.

But just to be 100% clear, you guys are saying the game won't work on my computer because it's to slow, right? & even if I did get it to work it'd be really slow, right?

But I'm just wondering, even though my computer is slow, would I still be able to run the game but just at a really slow speed or something? I'm just wondering.

So it is possible to get the game working on my computer but at a very low speed?

But even before I'd get it to work I still think I need help with the wiimote plugin..
