Some of those such as theft aware seem to be paid applications and I don't have any money atm. Adfree only seems to work on some browser based ads but doesn't eliminate all ads, it doesn't seem to eliminate ads in applications and games.

I forgot to mention "redlaser" which is a barcode/QR scanner.

What you can do is scan upc codes and qr codes ---> http://www.adrants.com/images/qr-code-justinsomnia.png with your phone camera and have your phone download an app or whatever it may be directly from your PC. Just load the app on the phone, point the camera at a code on your PC screen and wait for the link.

For an anti-theft app I've installed Prey for the time being.

I have heard about prey before (more like I just read an article on it :p) and it sounds pretty good Wink

Ha ha apps, I laugh at them.
My dad have an new HTC android phone and love his apps, he's almost 55 and have a phone more modern then mine.
I'm starting to feel like an senior here though I'm only almost 26.
What's the fuzz with all these apps youngsters?

You see there Gab, apps are programs that make phones with operating systems better, kind of like a PC. Those who are fortunate enough to have one of these smartphones will want to get apps for fun, functionality, or out of necessity. What's the problem? Where does your hatred of phones and apps come from? What does your age have to do with anything? Are you drunk posting again?

Shit you caught me red handed here Big Grin
Yeah I have had some to drink, but I do know what I'm writing.

Well the thing is that I have always had a small interest in mobile phones.
A mobile phone for me is like an home phone, only for ringing and sometimes I leave it at home all together off.

A friend at work loves his IPhone and plays with it a lot, he's a fan of apps but I don't really see the fun of it.
I tried both his phone and my dad's phone but got bored with them pretty fast.

I guess I'm quite old fashion when it comes to this kind of stuff and I really love old phones.

I got the phone because sometimes I'm stuck in a small cramped car for five to seven hours to drive down near New York City so I could use something to do such as browsing the web, checking my email on the go and play some games. So anywhere there is 3G coverage I can hop online even if I am going down the road in a car.

Gonna give this a try since it looks like one of the better games to play. The game needs like 450MB of space though.
