Well I guess I add a little bit more detail maybe it is of some use:

I tried almost everything now, my DX9 should be state of the art(I installed the newest version that came with the pc game Risen yesterday) but I'm loading the newest Aug2009 DX9 Version from MS right now anyway...
However it should be possible to select the Plugin in the first place, doesn't it? It's not like it's the first time I use an emulator with plugins
OpenGL is just so horribly slow(about 50% speed if at all, and frameskips don't seem to speed it up one bit). Games I've tried where New Mario Bros and Super Paper Mario so far...
