Yes, I've tested Resident Evil Rebirth and Super Smash Bross Melee, the problem only happens with Harvest Moon.

But the only thing I get is the sound and a white screen. Could it be a issue with my GPU (GeForce 9800gtx)?

With 3D9, first I get a glimpse of the image, then just a flashing green

try the latest nvidia driver installation. it should fix your above problem.

Not sure if it will help, but try turning off VSync and lower that goddamn resolution to 640x480 if tou want to keep the ratio at 4:3

funny, then how about your nvidia control panel. try to use default configuration to run.
