Mind telling us a bit more about your CPU? All I can gather from that is that it is made by AMD and it's clocked at 1.66Ghz. A series line name might help, and might also help to mention if it's dual-core, quad-core, if it supports SSE2 etc.

As for your RAM, I hope it isn't only DDR.

Your graphics card is the same story as your CPU. All I can gather from that is that it is an ATI card and it has 512MB of memory. There are A LOT of cards with 512MB of memory. Might wanna be a bit more specific and mention your card's name.

You also fail to mention the revision number and simply say "latest from this site." That really doesn't help because you could've either downloaded one of the bi-weekly builds or one of the builds by forum members. Which are totally different revs from each other most of the time.

Point is, be more specific please. Smile

O.K. I see what your saying and by what you said I think I know the issue is now. Thanks for the well worded responce I can understand. For a while there I thought this forum was full of poeple here just to ridicule.I see I was mistaken.Smile

If you have an Athlon XP or an early model Sempron then it's a no go, as the CPU lacks SSE2 which is required by Dolphin. The best way to check what your CPU supports is to download CPU-Z and post what is reported here:

http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

If your CPU does indeed support the SSE2 instruction set, then we can go from there to figure out what the problem may be.

Things to post:

Your CPU make and model, graphics card make and model. Smile
