Hello guys,

I've been installed in my Ubuntu 12.04 x64 the Dolphin emulator.
The emulator works great, but I can't add the vibration function in the GC gamepad. I'm using a Xbox360 controller.

When I try add vibration function throught the GC gamepad menu no motor is show.

I read somewhere that I need to compile the emulator using SDL1.3 to be able to use the vibration function, but I didn't find the SDL1.3. So, I used the SDL2 to compile, but the GC gamepad menu still doesn't show any motor.

Somebody can help me, please?

PS: Sorry for my poor english.

Yeah Ubuntu is funky on the FFB stuff. I also am sure the 360 mod driver for Ubuntu is SDL3 only. Ask the Ubuntu guys if you can map from SDL3 to SDL2 or better yet SDL3 to DX.

So, is there some Linux Distro that FFB works without a lot of complication?

Thank you for you reply. Smile

my bad 1.3. I assumed Dolphin did work with some version of SDL. I think redhat distros work better but I'm not 100% sure.

So... I give up this.

I spent a lot of time trying do the vibration works, but it was useless.

I will play the games in dolphin without vibration.

I compiled dolphin-emu with SDL2 and in motor options appears 3 settings:
Sine, Square and Triangle.
What is Outpoot Range? How much of it i should to set?
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX660 (proprietary nvidia driver v.358.16)
RAM: 2 x 4G DDR3 1333 MHz
OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed x86_64 (linux 4.3)
I'm using latest version of Dolphin-emu from git master branch.
