Nvidia's solution to these problems is the GTX 680M. As with previous mobile GPUs, the GTX 680M doesn’t offer similar specs as the desktop version, but the 680M comes close. It’s similar in architecture to the desktop GTX 670, offering 1,344 graphics compute cores and a 256-bit memory bus. Clock speeds will vary by system design, but the top frequency noted by Nvidia is 720MHz, lower than the 915MHz of its desktop cousin. The memory bandwidth is considerably lower, however, rated at 115GB/sec versus the 192GB/sec of the desktop GTX 670.
680M is indeed a beast of an mobile GPU, but it does not even come close to a GTX670. I does features the same amounts of cores as the GTX670, but the core speed, shader sped and memory speed is severely down clocked. Desktop 660TI features same amount of cores too, but has a crippled 192-bit bus, but since the memory here goes as stock speed it's memory bandwidth stays much higher than the GTX680M.
The GTX680m does perform around a GTX660/GTX570/GTX480, which is great on a laptop anyways.
Anyways, when it comes to dolphin, I guess dolphin is a special case once again, since I doubt this emulator is that shader heavy, but rather needs more pure bandwidth instead?
