Check if your CPU isn't overheating, my laptop is weaker than your system and I still get 20-25 FPS in Hyrule Field, even after beating the game...

I 'm also getting slowdowns in parts where before they ran at constant 30fps but it's not that big of an impact probably just like 2 or 3fps

I am past the third twilight level, so I am quite far I think.

Is there absolutely no way to fix this?

Quick edit: Thought I needed to mention I tried everything @haddockd suggested above to no avail.
After all, sorry for my bad english but i get a massive speed up enabling OpenMP and OpenGL, im running at 1080p with a GTX550ti and Phenom 2X6 on dolphin 3.5 also im using the gamecube version and is forced to 16:9 , Hyrule field is still slow but not too much.

Why do I get 15-19 FPS on Hyrule Field with my specs?
I've seen people is this forum that have worse specs than me and can run it at 25 FPS...
My Configurations:
CPU: Intel i5 4200U
RAM: 6GB 1600 MHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M
OS: Windows 8 x64

I highly doubt that.

i5 4200 isn't a cpu. We need the FULL model number. 4200U? 4200M? 4200Y? 4200H?

Oops, forgot about that. Fixed. =P

i5 4200U. Got it?

And more, shouldn't Dolphin support 4 cores?
I've seen some posts saying that Dolphin is a Dual-Core application, plus one for DSP LLE on thread.

And, if you need, Dolphin-4.0.2.

That CPU won´t cut that area. Ultra-low volt CPU´s have shitty performance.

I get 30 FPS on the rest of the game. At least for me, isn't that of a shitty performance.
