Of course it works fine on actual hardware, lmao, you didn't get what I'm thinking :-(

Anyway, about profiling, I think a developer should do this, with their experience and they'll also have symbol files for the dolphin build.

Have you setup Vtune correctly ?

It uses timed profiling it seems, maybe it times out ?

Hyrule Field full speed :
-Battles with the King Bulblin (first and second battle)
-Final Battle (Ganondorf)
-Back in Time

In that battles...if you are using AR codes (Ex : Moon Jump), you can't get out of that place (if you try...you will fall).
Maybe the problem is the room change...

Ps : If you use freelook in the final battle, the battles with the king bulblin or in the intro...have the same map that hyrule field (Hyrule Field map complete)

I think so, and the evaluation version doesn't seem to allow this to be changed. :/

I think I'll let someone else who already has the full version of the software and a bit more experience do this, I can provide a save if needed.

Upload a save on mediafire just in case, in case a developer wants to take a shot at it.

This is an excellent game and emulation is generally very close to perfect, it looks awesome and runs great. It's a shame to have this bug :-(

Well here's the an NTSC-U memory card containing the NTSC-U save, third slot is the game you want to test. Use mine and skids instructions to test, I'll label my instructions below again for clarity:

1. Go to Hyrule Field (West), notice how it's running full speed at a solid 30 FPS.

2. Try to go up the the Goron mines, get knocked down by the Goron, talk to Renado and head south.

3. Watch the cutscene and seize Epona.

4. Head to Hyrule Field (West) again, notice it is still running full speed at a solid 30 FPS.

5. Go back into Kakariko Village, head north and jump over the gate and enter Hyrule Field (North), notice this part of Hyrule Field is about 10 - 15 FPS slower.

6. Head south once again back into Kakariko Village, then return to Hyrule Field (West), Hyrule Field (West) will now be 10 - 15 slower now just like Hyrule Field (North), Hyrule Field (West) was running full speed before visiting Hyrule Field (North).

I've/We've checked with wireframe mode and free look, unable to spot any differences that would be causing such a drastic slowdown. There isn't any more being rendered than before, at least this doesn't appear to be the issues by testing Hyrule Field (West) before visiting Hyrule Field (North) and Hyrule Field (West) after visiting Hyrule Field (North) which is why I am a bit skeptical of Omegadox's theory.

One observation I wish to ask of you...

1. Load the game.
2. Open the log window.
3. Turn on ONLY the File Monitor.
4. See if there's a huge amount extra being loaded each time.

You'd be surprised how much the Gamecube and Wii loads when you're not looking. For example, In Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing, It loads most of the essential game files you need to play the game for some reason when the game logo appears between the company logos and the attract movie.

That didn't reveal much other than a few sound/music files being loaded.

Odd... Still, I get some interesting observations about games by looking over their file loading behavior, and it's only with emulation that you can do so...
I need a life.

I'll play around in hyrule, and I figured most of the file loading is audio loading.
