Had to buy one of these since all my old gamecube controllers had developed issues. Amazon has them for $8. I got the standard indigo since I figured that'd be the one most likely one to be the most recently manufactured.

The Y & X buttons weren't registering at first but after breaking them in a bit they're working just fine. They still won't register very light taps, but I have to actually be trying to push it down light enough for the input not to register.

The analog triggers feel exactly like you'd expect from a real gamecube controller.

The only significant difference from a genuine Gamecube controller is the Z button 'clicks' in. C-stick and d-pad is a bit more stiff, but not severely. If anything the D-Pad is a bit better than it is on a real gamecube controller due to this extra stiffness.

Anyway I recommend it. If I had to rate it, with a brand new Nintendo-made Gamecube controller being 5, I'd give it a 4.5/5. Almost as good for a fraction of the price.
