Hi! How to turn on Hybrid XFB? I have lastest Dolphin build (6517), but when I try to play Eternal Darkness I have problem with purple screen. I've unchecked Store XFB Copies to Texture Only but problem still exist. I don't know where to find XFB settings.

There clearly is a section visible called "External Frame Buffer (XFB)" on the other hand, to answer your question Hybrid XFB is activated by default for games that require it. To be honest, I do think the naming of the fields (the tickboxes) could be a bit more descriptive, because they never made sense to me, The only thing I really understand is Immediately Present XFB which skips the emulated videoram or something like that. I have tried understanding all the thing's mentioned in the Progress report but it still really doesn't make any sense to me.
Check my profile for up to date specs.

Immediately Present XFB immediately presents the XFB Copies directly to the screen, skipping a majority of XFB emulation.
When it's off, it follows the same process that goes on console when producing output. 03-20-2018, 07:12 AM
I don't know what was wrong but everything works fine now with this settings. Pink screen is gone (It wasn't big problem, but all I wanted was to know how to turn of Hybrid XFB).
Thank you Dolphin team for all your insane work. |
