Hey forum. I'm trying to figure out the best way to play a large variety of games on dolphin. The problem is I can't figure out a good controller setup. I've tried using a PS4 controller for some games while also using my mouse to control the IR. This works pretty well, but I lose out on the motion controls from a real wiimote. I have tried using the "Real Wiimote" setting in Dolphin to play games. It's also pretty good but I can't / don't have a sensor bar set up so I don't have IR. However, I've been reading around on some forums and discovered that the "Hybrid Wiimote" option might allow me to use a real wiimote with mouse IR. Another post said to leave everything blank except the IR controls. I did this with my wiimote properly hooked up via bluetooth, but none of the controls worked (except IR).

So my question is: How do I play games with a Wiimote and a mouse for IR?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Basically: You don't, the Hybrid Wiimote option is a buggy broken mess, if it works... it works... if it doesn't good luck!
Check my profile for up to date specs.

Huh, shame. Well, I should be happy just to be playing these games. Great work Dolphin team! Can't wait to see what's next! Big Grin
