Hybrid option and sideways wiimote issue

Hello all,

When I'm using the hybrid wiimote option, the emulated Wii will not recognize my real Wii more as turned sideways.

For example, in new super Mario bros Wii, if set to the real wiimote controller setting, turning the Wiimote to the side acurrately controlled the game, with true up becoming left, and so on. However, if I have it on hybrid, turning the Wiimote does not change the controls, so true up remains up, and so on. I thought it might be the sideways wiimote setting in the emulated configuration, but that only affects the keyboard mapping.

Any ideas?

Do you have an extension plugged into the wiimote?

Thanks for the reply. No extension is plugged in to the real remote, BUT there was the nunchuck configured for the emulated one. Chose "none." and problem gone! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
