Hi,

Please review my specs.

Core I7 2670QM 2,2 GHz
Radeon HD 7690M XT
Windows 7 64bit
8 gigs ram.

The intro when you walk through the story in Galaxy 2 suffers from slow down. Is this to be expected?

SMG 1+2 need an i5-2500k @ 4.4GHz or i5-3750k @ 4.2GHz to run @ fullspeed. With your mobile CPU, slowdowns are normal Wink

I've got the same CPU and i can say, that in some areas, you won't get more than 60% game speed.

the HP has a bug with it's GPU not clocking higher then the 2d clocks sometimes.
(I own one too)

If any other games lag, make sure the gpu uses higher clocks.

If the gpu isn't switching to the 3D clock frequencies that would be the fault of the drivers. In other words AMD would be at fault not HP.
