Having your memory in dual channel mode doesn't make too much of a performance difference in most situations. Maybe 1% from what I've experienced. And it leaves open room for upgrading.

IDK, but overclocking on a micro-atx motherboard should be the same as an atx one. And airflow would really depend on the case.

430 watts should be enough for an OCd CPU and a single 7850. I've run systems like this on a 400W power supply, and they drew somewhere in the range of 300W. And it's only $19.99.

In any case, this is just an example build I threw together in a few minutes without much idea of what he would want. I tried to make it inexpensive without skimping on too much, hence things like the $50 8GB memory.

I guarantee you with any decent cpu there will be a noticeable performance difference in dolphin between single channel and dual channel memory configurations.

That sounds shady.

What brand/model?

It was a Corsair CX430 with a $20 rebate. It's back up to $40 now.
