Ah okay, thankyou. I figured it meant take it out, leave it out and put yours in, but I guess I was wrong. Being 4-am here my thinking is a little clouded.
[Howto] Wii System Menu + Channels (Functions but WIP)
|
Another problem, Since I dumped my Wii's NAND the save files came with it. I won't be dumping every single Wii game I own, so is there any way to permanently delete all Wii saves games? Every time I try to from the Wii system menu, they just pop back up randomly. I also had home-brew installed on this Wii if that could be the cause?
I just decided to back-up my Wii, format it, create another back-up, and then restore the original files to make it a clean slate for dolphin. This fixed my problems, now back to the boring work of dumping 30 games at 20m/Game :I.
Hi, I'm having issues with the Mii Channel. I've installed the system menu 4.3U and the Mii Channel on my Dolphin NAND (Which works fine, my RB DLC loads). I can boot into the system menu but when I choose the Mii Channel it just throws me back to the system menu, any ideas?
I'm currently using the new stable 5.0 version. 07-01-2016, 05:51 AM
I have internet channel installed, and it works perfectly, I'm typing this on dolphin!!!

I'm aware that Dolphin, for some reason, doesn't support more recent System menu updates (they fail to boot games properly). What is the latest version working in dolphin? I love having access to it, but it's pain seeing the vast majority of games ask for an update, only to fail to apply said update over and over, or give me one incapable of booting anything.

The latest system menu version works just fine for booting games (except GameCube games), at least when you have a proper NAND dump. I have heard of people having problems when installing the system menu on their own, for instance using NUS Downloader. I'm not sure how to fix such problems. 11-20-2016, 02:37 AM
Hi there,
i am unsure where else i should put my n00b question this seemed like the most likely place to ensure that i'm on the right track. ive been having problems with ripping my copy of wii fit, so my friend gave me a copy, except its a USA version not PAL, and ive noticed that the weight system is in lbs (prefer stone) and the date is in USA format (prefer uk). A google identifies that these can be changed via the Wii settings, in order to access this setting i understand i need to install the wii menu, is this correct? or are my problems related to this being usa rather than pal version? is the wii menu already installed into the 5.0 version of dolphin or do i still need to try and "Extract a wii system menu wad from the update partition of a game"? i assume that my copy of wii fit will have an update partition if i can get my copy to behave? 03-16-2017, 08:24 PM
Hey, so having an issue with Bluetooth Passthrough exclusively related to the Wii System Menu, so unsure of which thread to post this in. I can change any setting in dolphin and the wii channels in the system menu will boot just fine. If I change my setting to bluetooth passthrough and connect to my bluetooth adapter the channels just seem to hang and my CPU usage goes to values upwards of 30% just for dolphin. I'm using the latest dolphin revision as of this moment and am using the Insignia 4.0 Bluetooth adapter (Model Number:NS-PCY5BMA) Took me like 2 hours of ticking and unticking settings to figure out which one it was. I just happened to run across the Wii Shop announcement and got excited to check it out.

Using Dolphin 5.0-2964 with default settings, the System Menu loads fine, but none of the channels will launch (they'll just sit at a black screen).
