I just finished playing Super Mario Galaxy in 3d All Stars on Switch and wanted to play Galaxy 2 so I got it set up on Dolphin using the Switch pro controller and its gyro for the Wii pointer through the Steam controller configuration. It's working great except for the fact that I can't seem to figure out a way to re-center the pointer to the middle of the screen by pressing a button like it does in 3d all stars by pressing the right bumper. Could someone please inform me of how I can set this up or if it's even possible on Dolphin? I think it will be pretty much perfect if I can get it to do this. Thanks!

Using latest Dolphin, under "Motion Simulation" or "Motion Input" (whichever you are using) bind a button to "Recenter".

EDIT: In your profile it says you are using 5.0. I highly recommend you update to the latest dev builds as the whole Wii Remote input system has been revamped and it is FAR superior now. Also Dolphin in general is way better too.

Ah okay, I'll try updating to the latest dev build and give it a shot, thanks!

So I updated to version 5.0-15099 and now see the option to bind a button to "Recenter", however it does not seem to work no matter which button I set it to. I have tried setting it in both Motion Simulation and Motion Input but have had no luck, any suggestions on why it might not be working? I am starting Dolphin up through Steam and have the gyro set up to control my mouse cursor in the controller configuration. The mouse cursor then acts as my pointer.

That would be why. The Recenter input in Dolphin only works if you give Dolphin access to the raw accelerometer and gyro inputs and let Dolphin handle the pointer (in Motion Input).
