Yes, you can play your wii/gc games across 3 monitors as one resolution, provided you have a correctly supporting graphics card and a fast enough processor.

AMD Eyefinity:
5000 series or newer
Will need an ACTIVE displayport adapter if you do not have any displayport monitors. Please do your research, a regulra passive adapter is cheaper and will not work.

Nvidia Surround:
You will need to either have 2x 500 series in SLI
**OR**
1x 600 series (recommended over 2x500 series)

You need to set up the eyefinity/surround on your desktop FIRST before you enable it on dolphin. Also OpenGL does not work well with this type of set up, you will need to test DX9/DX11 with various levels of Vsync/Anti-Aliasing/Antiscopic Filtering and may find DSP LLE makes things better for your game as well.

DJ hero 2 was the hardest to get perfect and required me to overclock my cpu a little more to 4.2ghz, install the DSP LLE, and run Vsync so that the sound/video was matched and consistent.

My current computer:
Intel i5-3570k @ 4.2ghz oc (stock voltage, stock heatsink)
4gb PNY 1600mhz DDR3 Cas8
60gb ocz agility 3 ssd/WD 1tb
Asrock Z77 itx motherboard
Asus HD6870 1gb video card
Siliverstone ITX case/450w psu combo
Win7 Home Premi x64
IVT (CSR) mini USB bluetooth dongle (cheap $1-2 type)
USB mouse/keyboard
3x Dell U2410F ISP monitors - 1920x1200 resolution each, 5760x1200 total
Using real wii controller (black)
Using real wii DJ hero turntable
Logitech 5.1 surround sound working
Logitech G930 wireless headset (usb dongle) working

Software:
Current Dolphin 3.0 - 776 + DSP LLE enabled
Toshiba Bluetooth stack, works better than bluesoleil for me
Catalyst Control Center (CCC)

...wouldn't this result in really distorted graphics? On PC games you can toy with the aspect ratio and FoV very easily, but on Dolphin it's a bit more complicated.

Yes, but some prefer to fill their monitors. I'm not one of those people, but others like it.

What would be really cool is if the widescreen hack could be applied to fill the monitor (or in this case monitors) with accurate graphics. That would be cool.

I would think it is possible to do that by looking at more of the 3d scene (just like I'm pretty sure it is done with the current widescreen hack), but I don't entirely know if there are limitations to what they did for the widescreen hack.
Desktop:
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 4.4 GHz
GPU: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Factory OC'ed)
RAM: 16 GB @ 1600 MHz
Dolphin Revision:3.0, 3.0-784, 3.5, latest 3.5

Looks great. Pivoting the monitors into Portrait would closer match the 16:9 aspect ratio that Wii games use.

it actually looks complteley fine if the settings are tuned right.

And yeah i can rotate my monitors to portrait and see how that looks too.

No hack is needed. The dolphin does it automatically assuming you have your eyefinity/surround set up correctly first.

That image has definitely been stretched. The widescreen hack shows more of the scene; that just makes everything wider.

Just tried this, ended with CCC crash with eyefinity on R9 290.

Got 30 fps though.

Or could my crash also be cause i recorded with MSI afterburner?

And on another issue, when i had it on eyefinity, i got this ingame weirdness with the pixelated/lowres areas, is that normal? or is there a tweak to fix that?
