Hi there, I wonder if there is any easy (and cheap Big Grin) method to launch the DSPSpy on a Gamecube ? I googled but I didn't find anything really useful.
Thanks.

There should be tutorials around, afaik they require a BBA and PhantasyStar Online to work.

Currently the method with gamecube will require you to use gdb over the broadband adapter, and manually dump the ram regions which the dsp roms have been read into. Not really "noob friendly", but it works.
I have a usb-gecko SE coming in the next few days...I could see if there is an easier method with that, but then it would also require special hardware :p

Just check the first post in this thread:
Quote:You can run this file by renaming it to "boot.dol" and using bannerbomb, by using wiiload, or another method of your choice.
Given that you made a "system backup", I assume you have BootMii installed - and thus also have HBC. Put the dol file from the archive in your sd/apps/dspspy folder (you have to create that) and run it from HBC - or start HBC and use the included wiiload utility to load it over the network.
