How will dolphin run with this config?

2X Kingston 4 Gb Ddr3 1333 Mhz

Fine for most games , demanding games are out of the question (CPU bottleneck)

Another question: is it better an amd fx6300 over the i3 3220 3.3 Ghz for general gaming even if it's worse for dolphin emulation?

In Dolphin , FX 6300 is slower than i3 3220 . However, it will beat i3 if you overclock FX 6300 to 4.2GHz or higher
Budget CPU never run demanding games full speed , nothing less than an OCed i5 3570k @ 4.5GHz or i5 4670k @ 4.2GHz
