I tried to connect a 2in1 remote this way with the pc, cause i thought, that when the 2in1 remotes can connect to a wii console, they should also connect to a pc using the wii consoles bluetooth board. But it doesnt work. The 2in1 remotes are not recognized (other bluetooth devices are recognised so the module is working)...

edit: they also dont connect using the toshiba stack...

I'm going to have a buddy wire this up for me.  Can anybody confirm which wiring schematic is correct?  The original post or this correction?

The Wii bluetooth module has a chip antenna, so there's no external wiring needed.

Yes, signal in my case is worst than other high quality dongles I have.

Was thinking about adding external antenna, but still cant find some antenna connectors. In most cases internal antenna will do just fine.

Sync button is optional, dolphin has a software button for this.

This thread seems to have gained some traction since I last looked at it. If a mod would be willing to help, I would like to edit my initial post to cite credit for 2 users who helped with this. If possible, please add this to the bottom of my post.

When creating the Definitive Wii Trimming Guide, they were the ones who figured out that shorting those three 3.3v pins together forces the bluetooth module on. That little trick made the guide possible, and is used in this wiring diagram."

I am also very interested in having one made. While wiring one yourself is great, and fairly easy... having an external power supply is silly. It seems that this has been being talked about for a while, and now with Dolphins passthrough ability, this is the perfect time to get this off the ground.

It does not need an external power supply. All you need is a linear regulator to reduce the voltage down from 5v to 3.3v. The BT module only consumes 20-30 ma when in use with no remotes connected. With only about .04 watts being burned as heat, the linear regulator might not even need a heatsink. All you need to wire it up is the module, a male USB cable, a linear 3.3v regulator, and a tact switch.

While I don't have any interest in making or using a BT module to usb circuit board myself, I would be more than happy to provide information, or help however I can.

Wow, you seemed to know a lot of the Wii. Id like to try the new Bluetooth Passthrough and I want to use my Wii's sensor bar, but I don't want to cut the wire because I still want to use it on my Wii.
I'd like to build some sort of "adapter" so I can use a regular USB cord, but I couldn't find info of where I should bind the usb's red/black wires in the bar's plug. Could you help me with that please?
