i guess i'm pushing factories capabilities here xD
where was this ordered?
pcbway apparently were able to do it.
thanks for the pictures

i do assume the gaps made it easier to solder to the module?
I ordered these through jclpcb, right from that link you had posted. Maybe I just got unlucky with the manufacturing. It was pretty easy to solder to though, yeah, though admittedly the other design probably wouldn't have been a problem for me, I've got access to a pretty good reflow station and solder paste that would have done the job pretty easy, haha.

pcbway must be doing their process differently then i guess.

relooking at the picture i guess they made the holes first then milled out the gap , leaving the other side of the whole just hanging there? :/
were the holes a lot bigger then the Bluetooth module? i doubt making them small would fix this, but just to see if i can make it safer from unwanted connections (cause there is like, < 0.5mm space between the holes i think xD )
a picture of the holes aligned with the test points would be even better Smile

im also happy to see these people making these boards Big Grin

and ye, i also soldered my module to v1 directly. i too have a hot air gun and solder paste, but that stuff isn't really mainstream yet :p (hence using bigger smd components and having the usb holes too)

I’d say the holes were just about the same size as the pads, maybe slightly bigger? Was definitely concerned about bridging when it was all soldered down, but a quick continuity check god rid of those concerns. I can safely say your V2 design is functional though, finished it up and tested it out over the weekend.

Hello everyone,

I have had 20 of DacoTaco's v2 board created, fully assembled (with connector). With assembly included, it was just a smidge more to get 20 versus the minimum of 5. So I figured why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

If you would like to purchase one, I am offering 18 of them for $50 each to anywhere in US ($40 for unit + $10 for shipping). WML-C43 included. If you are outside US but still want one, we can work out the shipping cost. Please PM me if you are interested. We can use Paypal or Venmo.

Each unit will be tested on my Windows machine before being sent out. Shipping will probably be slow, as I have a full time job, and mainly bought these for my emulation stations. I can't really offer a warranty on these, but I'll pack them up as well as possible for shipping.

I'm a newbie here on the Dolphin forum, but I've been using Dolphin on my emulation stations for years. I got these made after getting fed-up with alternative solutions for Wiimote connections that were subpar. I've kept DacoTaco informed on progress with these as well, and he is cool with me offering them for sale.

Hey Doobie, if you can message me, due to restrictions on total number of posts, I can't message you. I'm very interested in buying one of those.

Hello everyone, apologies for the delay in response. I had not seen any PMs for awhile there, when I was checking daily, so I stopped checking as frequently.

I'll drop back in more often now. Still have plenty of them available, and hope others can get use out of them. I use my main one frequently at home for Wii Sports and other casual stuff in my living room, and it continues to go strong Smile

I'd like to grab one as well.
