Well, the wii bt module Works fine. no resync problems.

But signal it s just weak. Wonder why on wii with the same adapter, it s so much better.

As soon as I connect a second controller, losing packets begin and lag on controller is very noticeable. Even controllers are disconnected by the lack of signal. Im sitting at 2 meters from the adapter. Wiimotes are genuine.

My bet is that the unused pin is probably connected to some kind of antenna inside the console...

My bluetooth adapter has a weak connection to the wiimote, if it's plugged in directly into my front usb. With a 0.5m cable, the connection is fine. It's 2m + line of sight vs 5m through a wall.

So how are you plugging in the adapter?

Im plugging with a 30cm cable front usb. EMI from pc could affect if plugging near the pc case, but can´t be that bad.

BTW, with one controller you wont notice the lack of signal. Problem start when you connect more controllers.

Im pretty sure on wii it´s connected to something else. Even I can put something in the line of sight and drop connection. No way to do that on wii.

Use games like nsmb to notice lag quickly, moving from left to right.

I have succeeded. Best bluetooth adapter for Dolphin yet, audio works fairly well at low to mid range. Motion controls work from rooms away. Audio works decently from through a wall.

Can You share Your solution? Pictures (wires), howto? Have You connected some antenna?
Would be nice to have a guide here (or on website blog, or in FAQ/Howto) "for dummies" Wink

I can probably get a PCB board printed with a USB connector, voltage regulator and the proper board-to-board connector if there is enough demand for it.

We could try to make proper Wii Bluetooth Module Dongles if people are interested.

I might actually be interested if one can add the Wii module to the package as well Big Grin
