Once you know they work fine for a couple of days, maybe you can use that hot glue guns? Not sure the exact name, but putting a small amount on the regulator pins and on the bt module solder pads, will prevent cables from touching between them and protect the pads from getting ripped from the board.

[color=#000000]Both still working. I glue them with a hot glue gun like Trihy suggested.
I’m surprise that they even work with Dolphin on Ubuntu 16.04 and also work as a normal BT device with blueman drivers.

In the beginning I ordered  J27H002 (BCM2045) on ebay. And like some people before me, I failed to solder to it reliably. Soldering spots lifted. Then, checked what bluetooth chip is sitting in my old, broken HP Elitebook 2530p. To my surprise, this model uses very similar Broadcom chip (BCM92045NMD).

I think it is same 2045, but packaged much better for our purposes. First, it has a cable which is a bit easier to solder to. Second, it comes attached to small antenna.

bcm92045nmd from HP 2530p on ebay $7.5

Cut the cable and soldered to those separate wires. Used cheap power converter from ebay  which cost 1$ for 5 pieces. 3.3v converter on ebay

it worked immediately (passthrough via Zadiga driver replacement. Shows as "HP Integrated Module" in the list). did not have much time to test. but original wiimote connected quickly and operated reliably within 2-3m, line of sight. will test audio and  wii-bar tonight. Do not have 2nd wiimote yet. Will update this post later, once I have multiple wiimotes.

Does anyone know what USB protocol version the wii bluetooth module uses? I have one sitting around and a custom made PCB to stick it on for a project, but haven't really messed with it yet. I want to be able to amplify the data+ line to NRZ 5V signaling, but finding a good trigger point for a comparator depends on protocol version. If no one knows, I should be able to find it myself with an oscilloscope, but I didn't set up the board very well for testing that and would rather avoid it if possible.

You could try to delete you BTinf and Sysconf and see if it works. If it doesn't: that is the risk of having an unofficial bluetooth module. (In this case it is actually a completely different chip based on the same chip in the Wii)
Check my profile for up to date specs.

I tried deleting sysconf. but I do not have btinf file. could it be because I never used emulated Bluetooth connection before?

Lol, with media buttons Big Grin

I had some bluetooth adapters with the same chip than on the wii module and they didnt remember pairing. So, same chipset, different implementation, no go.

I don´t know why making this adapters are so addictive... xD, here´s my family of 4 adapters with sync button (Mini-radios, mp4, and a broken nunchuk) to use one and replace with the others from here to my death. (I think with 4 is enough for a life ¿?)
