Thanks fot the report.

Complete test should be made with 4 wiimotes connected, but I read somewhere that never goes beyond 100mha.

Thanks for the reply trihy. I guess mine isn't working. What I meant to be asking is after the wii bt module is built how is it intended to work? Without using drivers that get autodetected or uploading libusbk with Zadig? I guess I'm missing something because mine isn't working either way? Big Grin

Hi, oh, I see.

You need to check here and do what it says, depending on your OS (install libusbk with zadig and enable bt passthrough on dolphin)

https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough

If you want to know if module is working, it should be recognized like a normal bt dongle when you plug in on windows (before installing libusbk) After libusbk it will be recognized only by dolphin.

If doesnt work at all, check your soldering and pinout. All 3.3v point needs to be connected.

Yep I'm on windows. When i first plug it in it is recognized as a bt BCM2045A. I then used zadag to update to libusbk, enable bt passthrough on latest build 3114, then it says bt mode is enabled, but no usable bt usb device was found, aborting. I then tried to manually force it updating hex to dec but same thing. I'll check all my solderings after dinner. Sad

You can check if bcm2045 still shows on zadig list, if still shows, probably is working.

Latest builds of dolphin have some problems with passthrough, try build 5.0.2341 that is the last one to know that works fine on windows.

It shows in the zadig list as having driver libusbK (v3.0.7.0). I just tested build 5.0.2341 and it says "No usable Bluetooth USB device was found" I'm not sure what else it could be, but thanks for telling me what it should be trihy. Oh well, i was REALLY hoping to get this working.

Well, you can uninstall libusbk from devices administrator and try to use like a normal bluetooth dongle, it should detect any bt device, cellphones, etc. Once you get it working, you can install libusbk again.

BTW I think, if you use another usb port, iit wont load libusbk. So, this could be an easier way to try and test until you get it working like a normal bt dongle. Then you can plug it on the port you already installed libusbk.

Also reboot the pc, sometimes the easier things help.

True...
My test was done with a single remote. Dont have additional ones to check if there is any and how significant increase in current with 2+

I had some bluetooth error at the start too, though i cant recall 100% if it was the same one you get but it might be. Got the error when the dongle was connected through external USB hub.
Resolved by pluging directly to motherboard and reinstalling zadig libusbk driver for the new port.
Using 5.0.2767.
IF windows detects it, the dongle should be working
