Not sure how to measure input lag, but I think your bt dongles are fine.

Remember that lag increases exponentialy on this dongles as soon as you move more than 1 meter away. And if your dongle connect direct to the usb port with no extension cable, it can get worst because pc EMI field.

-data and + data are just fine in the picture, some user said it was wrong, maybe his cable got wrong color code.

BTW I made two adapters, one with wml43 and one j27h002 and can´t notice any difference, they work pretty much the same. The antenna design is different, wml is more rounded, but didnt notice any gain or loss between both adapters.

I can confirm that i had some cheap chinese cables with wire colors messed up, positive on the black and ground on the green wire is the latest encounter that comes to mind.

As for the working state of my adapters... i guess ill have to wait for the remote to arrive to be 100% sure, patience should be a virtue i heard Smile

Could someone tell me how much ampere the voltage regulator should have? There are so many regulators with 3,3V output, but so many different ones. I really would appreciate someones help to choose the right one. Thanks!

I would use a pre-soldered one like this fe: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMS1117-3-3V-Power-Supply-Module-Voltage-Regulator-DC-DC-4-5V-12V-to-3-3V-/172295144604?hash=item281d97449c:g:nSIAAOSwCfdXo-tK

thank you for the suggestions, this one looks good. Maximum amps is close to the usb 3.0 standard, so there should be enough ampere going through for the bluetooth module.

I dont think the wii bt module uses more than 200 or 300mha, so it s fine.

Has anyone got this working with Bluetooth Passthrough? Or am I just being dense?

Not sure what are you asking, but wii bt module works fine with passthrough.

I noticed the same about syncing, is hit & miss on windows. The first time sometimes you have to retry a few times for a sync.

And also noticed, if you launch a game and let the game run for a couple of minutes, then you turn on the wiimote, sometimes wont connect. It s better to turn it on just a few seconds after the game launch.

I measured it with a clamp meter and max miliamp pull was around 40ma, usually it sits at 20-30ma. Clamp meter does have some drift of around 10-20ma due to surrounding magnetic fields, but im pretty sure it will never pull more than 50-60ma. So a 100-150ma regulator would be more than enough.
