How to view DTM's?

I must be missing something simple... I searched the threads but only 4 results appear from DTM, and nothing with dolpin tas movie.

How the heck do I watch my replays? I load the game and it starts recording... I frame advance through the level, saving and loading states as required, then I end the emulation and save the .dtm. Now what?? I went to "Play recording" and chose my .dtm and it just loads the game fresh as if I double clicked the .iso. Can someone fill me in on what step I'm missing?

Thanks.
Nobody has an answer for me?

I did a little digging and found this:
http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=502

So am I correct in assuming re-recording is not a feature that has been implemented yet? That would explain why I can't replay a save/load stated movie. But shouldn't I still be able to play the game for a bit without save-states, end the emulation and save the .dtm, and then replay the movie and watch the emulator play back what I just did? As of right now, any .dtm I open up has the same effect as opening the .iso. A fresh game awaiting my commands.

I tried recording yesterday (r7117) and it is working. I tried it with a gamecube game (Metroid Prime). Were you testing the feature on a Wii game?

Yes. I'm trying to record Mega Man 10 speed runs. What did you do to replay the recording?

There is probably some issue with the DTM not recording the wiimote controls properly.

To replay the recording, I used the "Play recording" command that is directly below the "Start recording" menu command.

Yeah, you're right. It worked fine when I played a GameCube game. I guess this feature doesn't quit work yet for Wii. Sad.
