how to use wiimote on gamecube games on dolphin?

i have a wiimote and it works i have a ir sensor bar and everything and i play it with wii games but when i play my old gamecube games like luigi`s mansion it doesnt respond

youre not supposed to use a wiimote with gamecube games

but cant u just use the wiimote for gamecube games doesnt have to include motion sensing just the buttons on the the wiimote

for the buttons, you could use glovepie. You could also map the axis of the gc controller with the sensor bar in glovepie as well.

You can only play New Play Control! games this way :/
