If it's like any other wireless sensor bar, you just put batteries in it and turn it on.

All that a sensor bar does is put out a couple of inferred sources at a fixed point. It gives the inferred sensor (in the wii remote... really nintendo named it wrong) something to read and get it's position from. The wire that connects the original wii sensor bar to the wii is just to power it.
Technically speaking (not recommended) it is possible (but not an ideal solution) to make a temporary sensor bar by positioning 2 candles in front of the tv and lighting them. Assuming the candles stay lit and the flame does not move all around from air currents it will work like any other sensor bar. |
